People actually used to eat Fly Agarics in and around Hamburg not all that long ago, up to WWII, I’d say. The mushrooms were soaked in milk overnight and then the skin was peeled off. The rest was eaten, fried for example or in a stew. But for goth’s sake don’t try this yourself.
They are much too beautiful to be eaten anyway.
